I’m Esther and I am developer. I am passionate about elegant design. I love discovering graceful solutions to complex problems, and I always try to write simple, coherent and powerful code.

My passion for programming started when I was 14. I started working with code by customizing WordPress themes to use in my personal blog. Later, I began creating my own themes using HTML, PHP and Photoshop. I found it so exciting that I decided to make it my career. When I was 17, I began studying Computer Science at University of Brasilia and started learning C. Since then, I have developed many applications using mainly Java, JavaScript and C/C++. I have created all kinds of software, from simple CRUD applications to an Assembly compiler. I have listed the most recent/interesting projects on my portfolio page.

I love learning new things. By the time I graduated from Computer Science, I realized I am passionate about math and wanted to learn more about it, so I decided to go back to university to get a degree in Mathematics. After that, I came to Canada to learn more about business practices and to gain work experience.

At the moment, I am studying swift to learn more about developing mobile apps and working on two projects, a note-taking software and a marketplace website for used books.
